- Find your perfect Carrara pattern

- The advantages and disadvantages of block and slab purchases direct from the quarry — all at competitive wholesale prices.

Carrara, on the coast of Italy, is the ancient site for quarrying the most beautiful sculptural and decorative marble in the world. Carrara is home to many marble factories that take the 20-30 ton blocks and slice them into slabs for construction.

Clients can choose a specific block at a reduced price, and assume the risk of how the pattern will emerge from a block... or purchase slabs cut from single blocks they have chosen, and plan their patterns for building projects.

The steps in a marble order (there is no obligation to purchase until an order is final and approved by the Client):

  1. Determine approximate square feet/meters for your project. Wholesale minimum is one container. (A shipping container holds approximately 4,000 square feet or 372 square meters of marble.)
  2. Alisanne discusses options and presents the marble options. Large dimension samples can be constructed and shipped to Clients. (Note: Large samples are much more accurate for choosing oak and oak patterns than small samples offered in showrooms.)
  3. Favorable rates are negotiated, andall fees, shipping, and delivery from French Ports to your destination are included in quoted prices.
  4. After Client approval, the order is placed, and Alisanne supervises all interactions with the marble Quarry and Transport Companies, and personally oversees every Client's shipment from the Quarry to the Client’s chosen destination.
